First and foremost I just wanted to say thank you so much for your interest in my page and fashion blogs, it means so much to me being able to share my passion with you and others who enjoy it just as much as I do.

My name is Amanda (shocker right HA), I live in southeast, VA near Virginia Beach. I was born in Williamsburg, VA on December 14, 1989 (sagittarius baby)! I am the youngest of three girls (my poor dad) and had a twin sister that passed away in utero. My dad was Fire Chief and my mom a special education teacher for the severe and profound. I played softball during my childhood and field hockey in high school. I worked in a salon during high school and apprenticed for my hours, once completed I decided I just wasn’t prepared for the test and moved further east. I worked hard and put myself in the best cosmetology school in Hampton Roads called Rudy and Kelly academy. I graduated and worked in a couple different salons the proceeding years.

I met my husband in Virginia Beach when I was 20. We fell in love, got married, and have two beautiful boys, Jake (8) and Owen (4), and no, not after Jake Owen the country star LOL (I have been asked that before). My husband is a captain in the fire department and also owns his own business, designing websites (including this one) and software applications. I worked in a salon and had been a hairstylist for 10 years, until I became a stay at home mom and a caregiver for my mom when she was diagnosed with leukemia (there is more information regarding her situation in the “My why” link.

I am now a baseball, house cleaning, dream chasing, schedule managing, loving mom who has a serious love for inspiring and encouraging others.
